Mohamed Salah Issues Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah apologised to the group of players following the fallout from his recent interview.
The Fallout
He was omitted from a key Champions League match following making accusations and claiming his relationship with manager had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” he continued.
Jones also noted that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “I get that there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
The team's performance have been impressive in the period after the interview fallout. He feels the forward's comments were not designed to harm the team.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a desire to win,” he finished. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
