AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Holiday Season

In a surprising partnership that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret sect.

The questline centers on "bizarre tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Latest Free Story Addition

This update also introduces the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "The Enigma."
